Qatar Armed Forces awarded Domopan Phase 1 of the development of a new 1 million square meter camp for the Tank Regiment. The project is primarily infrastructure including internal roads (381,000m2 of asphalting), services, and a 4-km external boundary wall. In addition, there are 16 no. watch towers, a fire station building, and 6 no. substations.

Kraus-Maffei-Wegmann is a German multinational military equipment manufacturer. Part of KMW’s supply agreement with the State of Qatar included the design, build, and operation of two highly sophisticated buildings (1. Training & Simulation Center, 2. Commissioning Workshop). Domopan was awarded the Design & Build Contract for these two sophisticated buildings and liaised with the Client representative W.S. Atkins to hand over the project on a fast-track program in time for formal opening of the facility by the country’s highest-ranking officials.
